Before Blaze had a chance to respond to anything Cyrus had inquired about moments ago, he was off. Something about racing Blaze. That was rather silly. Cyrus would easily win, especially with a head start. He shrugged it off and just pushed past the bush he was standing next to and walked toward Cyrus' home. He had no intention of running. "Super speed in the non-supernatural world would be cheating, Cyrus!" He called after his friend. He definitely was not racing a werewolf equipped with super speed.
He knew his strategy of walking would only make him lose, but he was going to lose this race regardless. He was just looking forward to the muffins he was promised. Or muffin. He really wanted two muffins though. He heaved a sigh as he reached Cyrus' house, coming to a stop. He shoved his hands into his pockets and looked around. He now felt kinda awkward coming around Cy's family home. After all, Blaze knew something about Cyrus that he was pretty sure that Cyrus' family knew nothing about. He felt like he had seen something he shouldn't have seen or heard something he shouldn't have heard. All in all, he felt a bit guilty. "I don't have super speed, Cyrus." He muttered softly as he reached his werewolf friend. "I can shape shift though. Just, not very good at it yet. Regardless, how are you going to explain being outside so early in the morning in your PJs? And me just randomly showing up this early. I never come around this early."
