practicing magic [jake]

Not even hearing the old door creak open, Belle was engulfed in her work, just concentrating on the candles in front of her. Glaring them down as if they were mocking her by not catching on fire at will. Well to her, they were mocking her. It meant she still had more practice, even though all she ever did was practice her magic until her fingers bled.

Hearing somebody call her by the name of 'Izzy', Belle snapped out of her concentration, looking at whoever was speaking to her. Seeing her younger brother in the den with her, a smile spread across her face. Jacob was the only person she even allowed to call her Izzy, when somebody else said it she would often correct them to call her Belle. It only sounded good when Jake said it, and when her sister was learning how to speak.

Brushing some of her dark locks out of her face, she looked over at her younger brother and rolled her eyes at his comment. "Okay last time I caught the stove on fire was because our older brother decided to scare me while I was cooking dinner. I believe he learned to never do that again, after his favorite shirt managed to get singed in the process." she said to him. She had only managed to 'burn the house down' a few times, enough to count on one hand at the moment.

The first time was when Belle had gotten her power of pyrokinesis. She had pointed at Jake and was yelling at him because her head was throbbing and she was in so much. She remembered how flames just shot out of her finger and towards her little brother. It had scared her beyond all belief.

Seeing the books in her brother's hands, Belle raised an eyebrow. When it came to magic, she knew that her brother hated his power with a passion. Of course she tried multiple times to tell him that he wouldn't want her power, how scared she was of burning the house & everybody she loved down. But it seemed like her words had no effect on her little brother. "Letting Anna borrow books?" she asked him. Who else would he give the books to? His familiar wouldn't do much with them besides either give them back to a member of the family or put it back on the shelf. She was a nice kitty cat like that.

"You know mom and dad love Anna" Belle added as she stood up and made her way over to Jake. Quickly grabbing a book that he had put away, she looked over the title of the book. Healing magic. "Jakey, I'm sure if you just ask mom that she'll let Anna join our Coven. She already treats her as if she is her daughter." she added as she placed the book back onto the shelf.
