How Caden had gotten into this mess was probably something he never wanted to admit. He was currently standing in the living room of a family he had never once met before. The Miller's. Or something like that. The only thing he knew was that they were werewolf hunters. What was he doing? Well, he was wiring the entire house with a surveillance and security system that would make AT&T blush with embarrassment. It was of Caden's own design. He was currently installing the main electrical panel that would control everything for the massive system. This particular security system was exclusive. Hunters only. It actually made Caden proud at first, now he was just annoyed.
Every new hunter or hunter family that showed up in Beacon Hills that Caden's father heard of would instantly get contacted and questioned if they would like one of Caden's security systems. It was a pretty high tech security system, but that didn't mean it didn't have it's flaws. The system had been programmed to recognize subtle hints in a person passing by or walking toward the house and tell if they were friend or foe. In this case, if they were a werewolf or not. But still, the system had it's flaws. Sometimes the prey was just too good at hiding and that wasn't something Caden was going to be responsible for. The only good thing about this whole set up was the 70-30 profit split. Caden getting the 70%. After all, he did all the work.
So, on Cade's Saturday morning, he stood in some stranger's living room at 11 am installing some supernatural sensing security system. He was surrounded by cameras and motion sensors, even a few sound sensors. Never know what you would need. He had finished wiring the whole house, he now just needed to get it all connected to the main panel before he installed the cameras and sensors around the perimeter of the house. These types of jobs always would take up all of Cade's Saturday, the only awesome thing was, his mother would have a huge bowl of ice cream waiting at home for him to soothe his frustration. The young hunter was starting to feel used and abused.
"There. That's all done. Now to install everything else." He muttered to himself as he glanced down at the mountain of cameras and sensors. He sighed as he unbuttoned the plaid shirt he had put on over his white t-shirt. He had on a normal pair of black jeans and his signature plaid fold over combat boots. He had multiple pairs of the same combat boots, only with different colored plaid. He loved those boots and wouldn't trade them for anything.
Cade crouched down next to the pile of electronics and started to sort through them. He started making a pile of cameras, a pile of motion sensors, and a pile of sound sensors. He was seriously hoping that he could get this finished soon and just go home, however, it didn't seem like that was going to be happening. He was starting to wonder why hunters always felt like buying the biggest houses they could find.
